Reserve Show Champion - Indiana Poultry Breeders
December 5, 2011
Old man winter has finally set in here in Indiana, the cold and snow is here to stay for at least another 6 weeks, we usually start warming in March.
The White and Black Cochins are coming along quite nicely very happy with the way they are turning out so far. My first shows will start in early April, I'm excited see how they will do. The Gateway Show in Bloomington is usually the first show of the season.
Our last show of the season was the Indiana Poultry Breeders where I took Champion Featherleg, Champion Bantam then Reserve of Show with my Black Cochin Hen- I was shocked and extremely excited! Nice way to finish the year:)
Currently have some hatching eggs in the incubator- mainly Black Cochins and White Rock bantams. The White Rocks are my new project, thought I'd finally show something with out feathers on their feet! Thanks Greg Chamness for the great start in Rocks!
Special shout out and thanks to my dear friend Nik who designed my web page! Thanks sister! You rocked it!
